Hard luck to our minor team who gave a very good account of themselves in the championship semi-final defeat to Fr Manning Gaels on Sunday last, it was indeed a great achievement to get this far and great credit to the management of Kevin Hourican and Jamsie Maguire for preparing the team so well, hopefully this team can now go on to win Div 2 of the league. On Sunday next our senior team take on Sean Connollys in the championship semi final, this will be an extremely difficult match to win and all our players will need to be at the top of their game to stand a chance. On Saturday night Sept 15^h the club will launch its development draw in the Breffni Arms Arva at 8.30pm; the plans for the new facilities will be on display that night and tickets for the draw will be €50 each with a prize fund of €30,000, music on the night by Martin Furey and Maurice Lennon Stocktons Wing. A special draw for four All Ireland football final tickets will be held for club members only, entry to this draw will cost €30 and is limited to 20 people, please contact Michael Masterson Cornakelly or Ray Murphy Annagh to enter.
