Boys U14s:
The division 1 side recorded a good home win in the championship over Maryland Tang on Thursday last, final score 3-22, 1-8. Good luck to our 29 strong panel who are in Kerry this week for the U14 John Egan Tournament. They will be hosted by Dr Crokes in Killarney, heading down on Tuesday returning on Friday. League Div 6 The Downs 4:12 Shandonagh 0:9
Our third team were in action at home on Sunday morning in ideal conditions. The Downs goaled in the first minute for an ideal start and maintained the momentum to lead at halftime 1:8 to 0:9. We dominated the scoring in the second half to end deserved winners. Intermediate championship
On Sunday evening we played our first game in the Intermediate championship away to Rochfordbridge . In a keenly contested first half with both sides trading scores Rochfordbridge held the advantage at the break, In the second half Rochfordbridge’s experience came into play and they used their possession to greater advantage to get goals. The Downs to their credit played to the end and finished the game strongly. Team: Sarah McGuire, Rebecca Kelly, Aoife Rowan, Jessica Crowley, Fiona Dignan, Laura Wynne, Gillian Ferguson, Beth McGuire, Leanne Duncan, Mary Lynam, Ellen Tate, Niamh Rowan, Orla Gavin, Claire Crowley, Georgian Crowley.
The Under 12s played Moate at home and in a keenly contested game lost out by a goal.
County Football
The county under 14 team played in a blitz in Carlow the club were represented by Naoise O’Donoghue, Meabh Scally, Grace Raleigh, Britney McNamee, and Nicole Keogh.

Clothes Collections
The Ladies Football are collecting bags of clothes as a fundraiser, so you can now de- clutter and help the club raise funds. Bags of clothes can be left with any team coach or committee member or in The Shop. Please ask family, neighbours, friend and co-workers to fill a bag.
