Coolaney/Mullinabreena GAA
Notes May 25th
Intermediate:
Our
intermediate side lost out to St. Molaise Gaels in Grange last Saturday evening
on a score line of 2.09 to 1.09. After a promising opening half, when leading
by seven points at one stage, our side seemed to capitulate in the second
period and were out fought throughout the field. This leaves the team
perilously close to the bottom of the division with seven games remaining.
Team: F

Cloonacool away on bank holiday Monday June 1st at 2pm.
U-16:
Our U-16
side defeated Drumcliffe in the league semi final on Wednesday evening last in
Oxfield, Carney. Coolaney/Mullinabreena were forced to concede home advantage
on this occasion as the pitch at Nace O’Dowd park was unplayable due to recent
rain. Despite this, our lads attained victory in an enthralling football match,
winning by the narrowest of margins on a score line of 3.10 to 2.12.
This win
