Coolaney/Mullinabreena GAA PRO Notes March 2^nd ‘09

Intermediate:

Our Intermediate side lost out to St. Michaels last Saturday in round two of the league. The match played in dreadful conditions at Ballintogher ended on a score line of 2.09 to 1.08.

We play Enniscrone in round two of the Benson Cup next Saturday, March 7th at 4pm in Quigbar.

Underage Coaching:

Coaching for the U-8, U-10 and U-12 groups continues every Saturday from 10am to 11am at Nace O’Dowd Park. We encourage any parents within the club to come along with children of this age as we continue to promote active participation for all. This year the club has a number of extra trained volunteers available for these coaching sessions that promise to be most enjoyable for all involved.

Coaching Conference:

The Connaught GAA coaching conference will take place in St. Brigid’s GAA Club, Kiltoom, Co Roscommon on Saturday March 7^th. Anyone interested in taking part should contact any club officer as soon as possible.

Sympathy:

The club wishes to extend sympathy to the Neary Family, Cloonacool on their recent bereavement.
