The shortlist of nominees for the ESB Irish Hockey Awards were released 3 weeks ago, & Greenfields are delighted to feature in TWO of the eleven categories. Dora Gorman is a nominee in ‘U18 Club Player of the Year’, & Fintan O’Flynn has been nominated in the ‘Development Coach of the Year’ category.
A black-tie gala dinner will precede the presentation of awards, set to take place at the Burlington Hotel on May 23rd.
Also at the Awards evening, new inductees will enter the Irish Hockey Hall of Fame, an institution, which is now in its fourth year, honouring legends of the past from Irish hockey’s enviable hockey history, which stretches back to the 19th Century.
