Hard luck to our U21B footballers who exited the Championship on Saturday and also to our 2007 U21 hurlers who despite a second-half comeback were defeated in the 2007 Championship final in front of a huge Lucan crowd on Sunday in Kiltipper Road. Our Christmas Draw was held on Saturday night. Thanks to all the sponsors of the prizes, the sellers and everybody who bought tickets. A special ‘Thank you’ to Kathleen for the superb organisation of the draw. Well done to Aoife Doyle who won the first prize of €3,000 donated by Ballymore Homes. Second Prize (€1,500) went to Bernard Byrne while third prize (€1,000 sponsored by Courtneys Lounge Bar & Restaurant) went to Ellen Deeley. And there were 37 winners of the other prizes!
