Senior: Lorrha’s Seamus O’Riain Cup quarter final against Boherlahan will take place this Saturday, 22 August in MONEYGALL @ 7pm.
Minor: Our minors lost to a good Nenagh team in their latest game in Moatfield last Thursday evening. The final score was 2-19 to 0-9 but we did miss some goal chances.
Our final group game is against Newport in Newport on this Thursday, 20th August @ 7pm. A win will see us in the quarter finals. Should we win, we play Toomevara in the quarter final next Tuesday evening @ 6.30pm.
U16: The Under 16’s will play Ballina or Kildangan Gaels in the Under 16 ‘B’ semi-final. No date has been fixed for the game as yet.
Well Done: to Patrick Maher and the Tipperary senior hurlers in this Sundays All Ireland semi-final against Limerick. Roll on the All Ireland on 6 September.
Parish Golf Outing: takes place this year in Birr Golf Club on Saturday, 29 August. Frank Larkin is this years captain. Tee-off times are from 9am to 1am and you can book them by contacting Tony Coen on 087-6219639.
Lotto: All lotto draws take place in the GAA Clubhouse on Monday night. The draw takes place at 10pm and all are welcome to attend. Thank you for your continued support.
Old Time Dancing: Old Time Dancing resumes on Friday night to the music of Catherine & Images. Dancing 9.30pm to 12.30am.
