We had a very inauspicious start to the 2009 playing season. We were unable to muster 15 players at home on Sunday for a Junior Football League Division 1 tie against Aghada – to think we got to the final of the 2008 competition about twelve weeks ago. Our senior hurlers lost to Limerick divisional side Emmetts in a challenge game. On next Sunday February 15th we are down to play Carrignavar (2008 winners) in the second game in the Junior Football League Division 1.
