Kilmaine palyed Davitts in the last game of the group stages today (8th August).
Davitts had the advantage in the first half on a scoreline of 0-6 to 0-2 at half time. Midway into the second half Kilmaine came back level and an exchange of points continued into the dying minutes. Kilmaine never got ahead though and a late goal from Davitt’s seen the match finish at 1-8 to 0-9.
After a 5 point win for Achill in the other group game today, Kilmaine still advance to the knockout stages with a second place overall in the group.
