At a meeting held in the Kilmaine community centre on January 21 last Fiona Cleary and Teresa Duffy stepped down as chairperson and treasurer of the Kilmaine Community Games. The new elected chairperson is Samantha Tiernan, with Kathleen Fitzgerald elected as new treasurer; Jackie Herity the existing secretary was elected once again this year. Best wishes to them in their new posts

Kilmaine Club Membership 2011
Everyone planning to play for Kilmaine and Carras Clubs this year will need to pay their membership for 2011. For insurance purposes you will not be allowed to play if membership is not paid. All other club members will need to renew their membership this year.

The Croagh Patrick challenge in aid of Mayo Autism Action is taking place from March 11 17. The challenge is that sponsored people (volunteers) would climb the reek every day for seven days, or just one day, to raise funds to support children with autism in Ireland. To date this event has raised €421.000.
