Ballygarvan 2-7 v Valley Rovers 1-1
The Ballygarvan girls put Valley Rovers under a lot of pressure in the first quarter of the County Semi-Final of the Junior Shield competition. However, the Valley’s defence were difficult to penetrate and this period yielded only 2 points for Ballygarvan. Then, a well-taken free by the industrious Maeve Moynihan deceived the Valley’s goalie and found the back of the net.
