Town Ladies on path to regain league title

virtuoso second half performance from Castlewellan Senior Ladies produced a significant victory over a Bryansford team 60min away from being crowned 2009 League Champions. Joey Rice RIP

Joey Rice
It is with deep regret that we learn of the sudden death of Joey Rice late of Bann Road Castlewellan which occurred at his home in Yorkshire on Sunday 27th September. Joey was older brother to our esteemed Club President and Life Member Teddy to whom we extend our most sincere condolences.

Our deepest sympathy to Joey’s wife, children, grandchildren brothers and sisters and wider family circle at home and abroad. Joey will be laid to rest in Yorkshire on Friday 2nd September follo

Girls win14 Championship Final

Congratulations girls, Noreen, Dessie and Clare on winning the under 14 championship on Sunday 11th October defeating much fancied Carryduff.
