Lotto

Club lotteries have been a regular part of fundraising efforts at sports clubs in Ireland for decades and Clubforce (as locallotto.ie) became the online home of club and society lotteries over 10 years ago. The Clubforce system allows clubs to sell lottery tickets online to club members at home and abroad. Members can enter multiple draws at once and receive automated emails with lottery results and club news. 

This online lottery service is included as part of the club’s overall subscription to Clubforce and can be run in-tandem with offline lottery or run exclusively online. 

More information on your club lottery including lottery results will be displayed at a later date.

Robert Doyle (Carnew) appointed as new Trainer for 2018

Clonmore GFC is delighted to announce the appointment of Robert Doyle as our new Intermediate Trainer for 2018.

Robert has previously trained Carnew and Annacurra to win Intermediate Championships in Wicklow and was Trainer of the Wicklow County Senior Hurling Team.

We welcome Robert to Clonmore and wish him the best of luck in 2018.

Death of Mick O’Brien, formerly The Green, Hacketstown.

The club is sad to report the death of Mick O”Brien at the age of 81. Mick played for Clonmore in the 1958 county final but became famous as a hurler when he moved to Dublin, playing with Kilmacud Crokes and later Arklow Rock Parnells. He played for Carlow hurlers for 16 years and won an All-Ireland Intermediate C”ship in 1962. He was inducted into Carlow GAA”s Hall of Fame in 2015. The club sends its condolences to Mick”s wife and family on the loss of this great Gael.

Death of Mick Furlong.

The club would like to sympathise with the family and friends of the late Mick Furlong, Crecrin, Ballyconnell, who passed away on Saturday. Mick played for Clonmore in the 1960s and 70s.

Please assemble for Guard of Honour at Byrne’s pub, Clonmore, on Tuesday at 1.15pm. Ar dheis Dé go raibh a anam.
