Lotto

Club lotteries have been a regular part of fundraising efforts at sports clubs in Ireland for decades and Clubforce (as locallotto.ie) became the online home of club and society lotteries over 10 years ago. The Clubforce system allows clubs to sell lottery tickets online to club members at home and abroad. Members can enter multiple draws at once and receive automated emails with lottery results and club news.

This online lottery service is included as part of the club’s overall subscription to Clubforce and can be run in-tandem with offline lottery or run exclusively online.

Intermediate team open league with win. Louisburgh 0-11 Mayo Gaels 2-11

November 8, 2018

Our intermediate team got their league campaign off to the perfect start on Sunday last against Louisburgh in Westport. Played in perfect conditions, Louisburgh started the best by going three points up inside the first four minutes. A Mallie Byrne free got the Gaels off the mark in the seventh minute. Then on the tenth minute Mallie Byrne scored a great goal following some high fielding by Danny Burke. Louisburgh replied with a point before Danny Burke pointed to leave the Gaels up 1-2 to 0-4.

The junior team beat Parke at home 1-13 to 1-12. The intermediate team lost to The Neale 0-11 to 1-11 at home. The U-16s are away to Eastern Gaels on Tuesday at 7pm. The minors are away to Kiltimagh on Wednesday at 6:30pm. The U-14s are away to Charlestown on Thursday at 7pm. The intermediate team are at home to Parke on Saturday at 6:30pm. The junior team are away to The Neale on Sunday at 12pm.

Juniors get first win. Mayo Gaels 1-13 Parke 1-12

Our junior team gained their first win of the season when they had the minimum to spare over Parke in Abbey Park on Friday evening. They will wonder how they only came away with a one point win as they dominated the game and were seven points up with three minutes to go but a resilient Parke side never gave up and nearly caught the home side at the death. The Gaels were first to trouble the score board with a fine point from play by corner forward Damien Quinn after two minutes.

Mayo Gaels U14s – vs Moy Davitts in Foxford 5-10 V 3-17

Mayo Gaels U14s had a close fought victory over Moy Davoitts in Foxford. The game was a very close affair with Moy Davitts going into an early lead which the Gaels clawed back in the 2nd quarter of the 1st half leading at half time by 8 points.
