Lotto

Club lotteries have been a regular part of fundraising efforts at sports clubs in Ireland for decades and Clubforce (as locallotto.ie) became the online home of club and society lotteries over 10 years ago. The Clubforce system allows clubs to sell lottery tickets online to club members at home and abroad. Members can enter multiple draws at once and receive automated emails with lottery results and club news.

This online lottery service is included as part of the club’s overall subscription to Clubforce and can be run in-tandem with offline lottery or run exclusively online.

Intermediate team win playoff. Mayo Gaels 0-10 Killala 0-9

Our intermediate team maintained their intermediate championship status when they overcame a resolute Killala team on Sunday morning. Played is a supposedly neutral but splendid looking Knockmore it was a lovely morning for football. The standard of football never reached any great heights with plenty of mistakes by both sides and a terrible refereeing performance but with so much at stake the tension made it an exciting contest throughout. Intermediate league fixtures – Ardnaree away on Sunday at 12pm

It will be a busy few weeks for our intermediate team as they still have four league games remaining. The only fixture yet confirmed is Sunday next October 14th away to county junior finalists Ardnaree at 12pm. They also have games with Bonniconlon at home, Killala away and Kilmeena at home.

Intermediate team beaten in league. Ardnaree 2-10 Mayo Gaels 0-7

Our intermediate team suffered a disappointing defeat in league on Sunday morning. They travelled to play county junior finalists Ardnaree on the outskirts of Ballina but came off second beat. The home side lead from start to finish and got a dream start with a goal from the throw up. They continued their dominance for the remainder of the opening half to lead 2-5 to 0-3 at the break. The second half was a much more even affair but Ardnaree had built the foundations for victory

Intermediate and juniors in league action next weekend

November 8, 2018

League action continues next weekend with both the intermediate and junior teams playing. The intermediate team face Bonniconlon at home on Saturday at 5pm with a victory badly needed. The junior team play their final league game at home to Islandeady on Sunday at 12pm.
