Lotto

Club lotteries have been a regular part of fundraising efforts at sports clubs in Ireland for decades and Clubforce (as locallotto.ie) became the online home of club and society lotteries over 10 years ago. The Clubforce system allows clubs to sell lottery tickets online to club members at home and abroad. Members can enter multiple draws at once and receive automated emails with lottery results and club news.

This online lottery service is included as part of the club’s overall subscription to Clubforce and can be run in-tandem with offline lottery or run exclusively online.

The U-16s beat Carras (Garrymore & Kilmaine) 3-18 to 2-2 in the South Mayo semi final and St Geralds (Hollymount & Carramore) in the South Mayo final 4-9 to 2-6. The U-12s beat Naomh Padraig away 2-3 to 4-10. The U-21s drew at home with Balla 2-3 to 1-6. The intermediate team are away to Kiltimagh in the championship on Sunday at 5pm. The U-16s play Belmullet in the league final in McHale Park on Monday. They play Moy Davitts or Ballyhaunis in the county semi final on Tuesday August 17th.

The intermediate team lost away to Kiltimagh in the championship 1-10 to 0-10. The U-16s beat Kiltane in the league final 5-12 to 2-8. The intermediate team are away to Ballycastle in the league on Saturday. The U-16s play the county semi final on Tuesday in Claremorris at 6:15pm.

U-16s win South Mayo title. Mayo Gaels 4-9 St Geralds 2-6

Our U-16 team won the South Mayo title for the fourth time and the first time since 1999 when they defeated St Geralds (Hollymount and Carramore) in Garrymore on Wednesday evening on a final score line of 4-9 to 2-6. Three first half goals from Kevin Lynch and two from Darren Prendergast setup the victory for the Gaels who lead at half time by 3-4 to 1-2.

Intermediate team lose to Kiltimagh in championship. Kiltimagh 1-10 Mayo Gaels 0-10

Our intermediate team lost to Kiltimagh in championship on Sunday afternoon. The sides were level at halftime but Kiltimagh edged ahead in the second half to run out three point winners on a final score line 1-10 to 0-10. They now face a relegation playoff.
