With the first
round of the Senior Camogie League played, all attention in
Fr. Murphy’s
will hope to see the return of key players from injury, and are sure to field a
strong team when they face rivals Bros. Pearse. There was little between the
sides when they met in last years league and championship, and although Fr.
Murphy’s were victorious on both occasions, the girls in purple and gold will
be taking nothing for granted.
Fr. Murphy’s are going for three-in-a-row this year, but in their way stands strong opposition from three other senior clubs hungry for silverware. Whatever happens, it promises to be an exciting season
