Junior 1 – A new dawn

Adult Rugby

The league fixtures are now published for the new season, starting in early October. In short, we have been spared trips to Dingle and Bantry Bay, and the end of league fixture away to Fermoy looks like a real challenge to end the league season. It will also be a huge challenge to play for the first time in the Munster Junior Cup, and the other competitions which take place at this level.

The full list of fixtures so far known are on the club’s website. It is planned to have a club shop where official merchandise will be available to all to buy, together with all membership renewals and club lotto.

The first training session of the season will be in Currabowen on Friday night 19th August. The under 18 squad will also train then, and every Friday.

We will not have enough players to field at under 16, and if anybody of that age wants to play, we will make arrangements to play with Galbally, who need extra talent for their panel.

Mini Rugby The ever growing mini squad will be active in St. Fanahan’s College on Saturdays at 10 am as usual. Please watch text messages for further information. There will be no activity in this area until the primary schools go back.
