Chairman Seamus Mc Grath was there to accept the award on the night. The Club were acknowledged for providing activities in three different codes namely Gaelic Football, Hurling and Camogie.
These games allow a wide range of participation from the very young to the not so young.
The Club have also spent upwards on £250,000 on upgrading facilities with a new pitch and flood lighting to name a but a few.
This award is a fantastic achievement for such a small rural club and one that we all should be very proud of.
We would like to express our thanks to all those who have helped to bring this accolade to our local community in any way, large or small.
