With a gale blowing in St Pauls favour for the first thirty minutes they were able to build up a lead of
1-6 to 0-2 at the break. This proved a bridge too far for a determined Aghaderg side who pulled it back to within a goal in the dying minutes. Indeed had it not been for a last ditch clearance off the line by St Pauls we could have gone into the last minute only a point down
