There is less than a week to go until the 127th All-Ireland Football Final which will be attended by over 82,000 people. Here are some more facts and figures for fans to digest ahead of the big day.
2 – This year’s All-Ireland Final will only be the second contested between Mayo and Dublin. The previous one was played in 1921, when Dublin emerged winners on a scoreline of 1-9 – 0-2.
10 – The final will be the tenth Championship meeting between the sides. Dublin have won five of the previous nine meetings, Mayo have won two and there have been two draws, although Mayo have won the two most recent Championship meetings between the sides, the All-Ireland semi-finals in 2006 and in 2012.
