Next Sunday will see Edenderry take part in the Leinster Senior Club Championship for the first time since 2001.
The reds will face an uphill battle against a young strong Athy side however this Edenderry team has already thrown the form book out the window in beating overwhelming favourites Clara in the County Final.
The game will throw in at 2pm in Newbridge and Edenderry GAA expect the huge support which travelled to cheer on the lads all year to turn out in force again next Sunday.
