This week’s lotto winning numbers were: 3, 8, 16 & 25 and they produced one jackpot winner M Keavey c/o Byrnes Shop Corrandulla while we also had one match three: Tommie Glynn Tavanagh. Pat Small Clonboo won the promoters prize and next weeks draw will be in Club House for a  4000 jackpot on Monday night next.
On Saturday in Athenry we were beaten by An Spideal in the County Minor C hurling Championship final by 2-8 to 0-7. The winners fully deserved the victory as they were on top all through the game and lead at the break by 1-4 to 0-4. Our team was: Andrew Goulding, Patrick Burke, Ronan Melia, Jonathan Comer, Fergus Fahy (Capt), Paul Lynch, Ciaran Duggan, Brian Creaven, Thomas Murphy, Declan Walsh, Martin Scully, Barry Murphy, Enda Mullarkey. Subs Gary Dooley, Ciaran Donoghue, Peter Hession, Ronan Killilea, Jonathan Creaven and Padraic Niland.
A very important Juvenile meeting will take place in the Club House this Thursday night at 9.00pm and all managers are asked to attend.
The A.G.M of the Racquet Ball and Handball Club will take place in Regans Clonboo on Tuesday Oct 30th at 9.00pm and all members’ old and new welcome.
Commiserations to Adrian Pierce, Clonboo, who on the St. Gabriels side that lost last Sunday’s London Senior Hurling Final against current All-Ireland Intermediate Club champions Robert Emmets. Adrian follows in the steps of other club members JJ Shiel and Kieran O Connor who also lined out with the Gabriels in the past. A group of club members travelled over to support Adrian on the day.
