U21 Football
We were beaten by Killererin in the North Under -21 ‘A’ Qualter Final played in Tuam Stadium last Friday evening, Extra time was needed to separate the sides with the winners scoring a goal in the last minutes of ordinary time. Team was: Brian Lohan, Noel Burke, Shane Collier, Patrick Burke, Daniel Dennigan, Mathias Coleman(1-0), Ian O’Dowd, Wesley Fallon, Ciaran Duggan, Ger Rafftrey(0-7), Fergal Doherty(0-2)(Capt.),Enda Mullarkey(0-1), Brian O’Dowd, Niall Farragher(0-1), Aidan Burke(0-2). Subs used: Declan Walsh, Stephen Kerr, Joseph Farragher & Christopher Greaney.
Sweeney Oil League
Our Intermediate team was beaten by Monivea Abbey and Oranmore Maree in the Sweeney Oil and our senior team are due to play Caherlistrane early this week in the competition.
U14 Football
Our Under-14 ‘A’ team beat Mountbellew/Moylough last week by 3.7 to 2.4 after been behind by 2-3 to 1-1 at the break, our team was; S Nugent, K Moylan, S Moylan, D Kerr, S Burke, D Meehan, D Comer(0.1) D Higgins, E Kerin, N Kinneen (1.1), J Healy(0.1), J Kerin (1.0), J Potter (1.0). S Curry, J Flaherty (0.4). Subs I Burke, D Kerr and S Dillon. The ‘B’ team are due to play Clarenbridge on Friday evening with the bus leaving the pitch at 5.30
Senior League
We play our first game in the Senior League in Cregg against Tuam Stars on Saturday evening.
