Tickets for the upcoming friendly against Sunderland AFC will go on sale to the general public before the game against Wexford Youths this Saturday. Gates will open at 6.30pm.

Tickets are sold on a first come first served basis and there is no limit to the amount of tickets that can be purchased in one transaction. Payment can be made by cheque / bank draft /postal order or cash only.

Main Stand – €35 (Very limited availability)
South Stand (Bucket Seat) – €30
East Stand (Bucket Seat) – €30
North Terrace (Standing) – Sold Out

There is no limit on the number of tickets per transaction

Adult – €15

Students – €10

Under 16 / OAP – €5

Under 12s Accompanied – Free

Pre Match Lunch
A three course meal will be held in a local hotel on the afternoon of the match (approx 4pm). It will be attended by a high ranking Sunderland official who will give an after dinner speech.

Table of 10 – €800
Half Tables can also be catered for.
Price does not include tickets but these can be arranged when booking. There is a limited quantity of tables available for this event.

There will be draws for signed merchandise during the event and all people attending this will also get access to the post match paying bar in the ground. This will be a fully functional bar with draught / bottles etc available.
Free buses will be provided to bring people from hotel to game prior to kick off.
Everyone attending will receive a free souvenir match day programme.

Athlone Town vs Sunderland Match day mascots
Match day mascot places can be purchased at €200 per child. This is available for kids 12 years of age and under. Price includes three tickets into main stand. Members / Season Ticket Holders if you have already purchased tickets and want you child to be a mascot please contact Chris on (087) 9918956. The number of mascots is limited to 22.

Match Ball
Any person that takes out either a 6 monthly or yearly subscription to our weekly lotto draw available in the ground or on www.athlonetownfc.ie in association with www.locallotto.ie between Monday 23rd June and Friday 22nd August will go into a draw for a signed match ball from the Athlone Town vs Sunderland game. Draw will take place at half time during the game against Limerick 37 being played on Saturday 23rd August.

Brighton and Hove Albion will play Athlone Town in a friendly on Wednesday 9^th July with a 7.45pm kick off. Normal match entry prices apply. Adult €15, Students €10, Under 16 / OAP €5, Under 12s Accompanied – Free

Athlone Town play host to Wexford Youths this Saturday 28^th June kicking off at 7.30pm. Manager Dermot Lennon will be in the stand serving the third match of his four game ban from the dugout. He will have selection worries with Colm Jinks serving a one match suspension and David O’Dowd unavailable due to a work injury that will keep him out of action for up to 8 weeks.

We will also be providing live updates from all our Friday night games away and it is hoped that we can also find a slot on a Saturday night to do this as well

Listen into Athlone Community Radio on 101.6 FM from 4PM Sundays when Robbie Mulvey brings you all the latest news from the club including weekly player interviews.

It is planned to offer these interviews as podcasts on the soon to be available www.athlonetownfc.ie website.

It is now hoped that we will also begin twice weekly shows on Shannonside in the coming weeks along with live updates from all our games home and away. Stay tuned for more information

Season long player sponsorships are now available at €300 incl VAT. These will also be carried in the special souvenir edition Sunderland match day programme. Sponsors name will appear in our very popular match day programme “All Tangled Up in Blue and Black” under the player of their choice. Nomination forms must be left in the entry box situated in the bar / shop immediately after the match. Votes will be counted 10 minutes after the final whistle. A draw will take place among the entries received agreeing with the experts choice and they will get to present the winning player with the prize. The supporter will also receive a gift from the club. Winner must be present at the presentation to receive prize
