Premiership Sunderland will be coming to Athlone this summer to take on “The
Town” in glamour friendly in Athlone Town Stadium.
This game will take place on Thursday 7th August with a
7.30pm kick off and is sure to be a complete sell out.

Town Under 17s now lead the DDSL league major Division 1 after an impressive 5-1
away demolition of Lourdes Celtic at the weekend. Next up is a visit to Dublin to play Knocklyon on Tuesday night. This will be followed by two home fixtures

Congratulations Nigel
Nigel Keady scored his first ever
League of Ireland goal last Tuesday in the 1 – 1 draw against Waterford in what was his 210th
appearance in league and cup. To make it
a double celebration Nigel also celebrated his 29th birthday on last
Saturday the 24th May.

Votes will be counted 10 minutes after the final whistle. A draw will take place among the entries
