Buy your Sod: Buy your sod in June and you could win a Voucher for Flanagans.  The fundraiser, to Turn Our Green Field Blue – Buy Your Sod, is well underway with the first 20 sods sold and certificates of ownership taking pride of place on mantle-pieces in the parish. Anyone who has bought a sod by June 30th will be in with a chance of winning a €70 voucher for Flanagans Bar & Restaurant in Ballina.

The target is to sell 1000 sods at €50 each. The land has been purchased, a grant of €56,000 towards development has been secured from the Sports Capital Grants 2012, and the diggers are on site!  Now the club needs to raise €50,000 to match funding to allow the pitch to be constructed in 2013. Sods may be purchased on line at or from the club shop or a committee member. Don’t miss out on the chance of putting your name on the sod.
