Bike for Ballina: The club in partnership with Waterman’s Lodge Daycare and Respite centre held a Bike for Ballina over the Bank holiday weekend. This was a novel marathon cycle event which involved over a hundred and fifty club members from under twelve boys and girls, under  fourteen, sixteen, minors,

intermediates, many parents and adult members, all giving their time to cycle for a least one half hour. Others gave generously of their time to collect donations. In lovely weather this was a great community effort which created a very positive buzz around the town.  A great achievement and great fun, well done to all involved! Results of challenges held as part of the cycle will be published next week. Thank you to the community of Ballina and local environs for the support you gave to us with this fundraiser.
