‘Buy Your Sod’ Launch by Ballina GAA CLUB:   The club is launching it´s ‘ Buy your Sod!’ fundraiser for it’s new pitch on Saturday 27th April at 11am at the club house. All members welcome.  Pitch in to turn our green field blue. The target is to sell 1000 sods at €50 each. Given the healthy membership of the club, this only equates to just over two sods per member. The land has been purchased and a grant of €56,000 towards the development has been secured from Sports Capital Grants 2012. Now the club needs to raise €50,000 to match funding to allow the pitch to be constructed in 2013. Sods may be purchased online at www.ballina.gaa.ie/buyasod or from any committee member. A certificate of ownership is given with each purchase. Buy Your Sod!
