Friday Church Services in Ballina:   After 10am Mass, the Blessed Sacrament is exposed until 5pm.  Prayer of the Church and Benediction at 1.05pm.  Why not come along and pray awhile.

Archdiocese Pilgrimage to Lourdes:   Recently, Joe Walsh Tours have launched the Archdiocese of Cashel and Emly’s Pilgrimage to Lourdes 2013.  This pilgrimage will take place from June 16th to 21st with a full inclusive price of €699.  Booking forms for the Pilgrim section are now available from Joe Walsh Tours on 01 2410811.  Enquires to Fr. Heart to Hand:   We are holding our usual Lenten Food Collection again this year.  The need for food is greater than ever.  We are appealing for Beans and/or Peas next weekend.  Collection boxes will be in the church porches in Ballina and Boher.

Recently Deceased:   Mass of the Angels was celebrated recently in Mary, Mother of the Church, Boher as we remembered Hope Rowney, Roran.  We ask you to remember her family at this time especially Nick, Peggy and Lauren

Recently Baptized:   We welcome into God’s family, Conor Michael Gibbs, 94 Ard Coillte, son of Joseph and Marina who was baptized recently.

Intermediate county hurling league: Ballina versus Moyne/Templetouhy Wed 23rd at 8pm in Templetouhy

 

Junior B hurling: Ballina versus Ballinahinch Saturday 30th March in Shalee [see fixtures]

 

All County Quiz: Well done to Jim Gallagher, Martin O Connor, Fr. Enda Brady and Carmel Bradshaw who go forward to the final heat in the The Dome in Thurles  March 28TH. Thank you to the people who supported the quiz.

 

Membership: All players with outstanding membership should ensure that their membership is paid before March 31st . Competitive games have already commenced and players will not be covered by insurance unless paid up members of the club. Membership €40 euro may be paid to any club officer or on line see Ballina GAA website.

 

St.Patricks Day Parade: Well done to the young boys and girls from the juvenile club  who participated in the local parade last Sunday, bringing GAA to the four corners of the World .Rembering and naming all the peole who had played with the club and who have now emigrated. Great work by Eileen and her team.
