Friday Church Services in Ballina: After 10am Mass, the Blessed Sacrament is exposed until 5pm. Prayer of the Church and Benediction at 1.05pm. Why not come along and pray awhile.

Dates for your Diary: Confirmation Day for Ballina/Boher is March 2nd, 2013. First Holy Communion Days are in Boher on April 21st, 2013 and in Ballina on May 12th, 2012.

Unite for Life: On Saturday, January 19th, there will be a ‘Unite for Life’ pro life vigil held in Merrion Square in Dublin at 4.30pm. Phone Denise (087 2669702) or Katie (087 7020255) for details.

Archdiocese Pilgrimage to Lourdes: Recently, Joe Walsh Tours have launched the Archdiocese of Cashel and Emly’s Pilgrimage to Lourdes 2013. A.G.M. The GAA club AGM will be held next Friday, January 18th, at 8pm. All members are invited to attend. The A.G.M. is the forum where all the events of 2012 are reviewed and plans are hatched for the coming year. With our Intermediate hurlers back in training, it is hoped that most players will make an attempt to attend this year.

Best of Luck: Our good wishes to Mike Breen and Aidan Hanley who are part of the Comprehensive College, Castletroy team who have reached the Quarter Final stages of the Harty Cup. Mike will be hoping to add to his All Ireland and Munster Final medals which were recently presented to him by County Chairmanm, Sean Nugent.
