Ballina Community Christmas Event: Ballina Tidy Towns would like to invite you to this year’s community Christmas Blessing, Christmas Tree Lighting and Carol Singing which will be on Saturday, December 8th, at 7pm. The Ballina Local Environmental Awards will be presented that evening. Further information can be obtained by contacting any committee member.
Console: Service of Light to remember the life of loved ones who died by suicide will take place in Bothar na Naomh Church, Thurles on Sunday, November 25th at 4pm.
Quiz: ‘The big Question’ which was held in O’Donovan’s Bar last Friday night, with 37 teams participating, proved to be a big success. Fergus Breen has to be complemented on the excellent job done on organising this Fundraiser. The proceeds of the event will be split between Crumlin’s Childrens Hospital and the Juvenile club. The winning team will proceed to the next round for the National Quiz where the top prize is a trip to New York.
Juvenile AGM: The AGM of the Juvenile Club will be held in the GAA Complex on Saturday, December 15th. All members and parents are encouraged to attend. Nominations for officers must be submitted before this meeting. New members are welcome.
