Console: Service of Light to remember the life of loved ones who died by suicide will take place in Bothar na Naomh Church, Thurles on Sunday, November 25th at 4pm.

Squash club: As the GAA season ends, all eyes are focussed on activities which help to keep us in shape over the winter period. Squash is one which can help to maintain fitness and is the ideal game to improve ball reflex for the hurlers in the off season. Squash provides an excellent cardiovascular workout. In one hour of squash, a player may expend approximately 600 to 1000 calories. The sport also provides a good upper and lower body workout by utilising both the legs to run around the court and the arms and torso to swing the racquet. In 2003, Forbes rated squash as the number one healthiest sport to play. Contact John Healy or club Sec. John Gleeson for more details.
