Friday Church Services in Ballina: After 10am Mass, the Blessed Sacrament is exposed until 5pm. Prayer of the Church and Benediction at 1.05pm. Why not come along and pray awhile.

Knock Festival for Young People: The Summer Festival is a one day event taking place on July 28th. It is for all young people between the ages of 17-30. On this day, young people will come together in a faith setting and deepen their relationship with Jesus Christ. They will explore, ignite and celebrate their faith. The event will have interactive talks, prayer, testimonies from young people as well as drama and music. More details on the Parish Noticeboards.

Wedding Bells: Congratulations to Cora McGrath and Carl Ward, Inchadrinagh who were married recently in Ballina Church.

Service for Persons with Intellectual Disability: The service is looking for committed people to be friends to their service users, to engage in various social activities, to spend quality time with the service users on a one to one group basis. If you have an hour or two to spare morning or evening, weekday or weekend, contact Grainne Keane, Daughters of Charity Service on 087 2855976.

Membership : With just three weeks to the Munster Final, we would suggest outstanding membership should be paid as soon as possible. Tickets will be distributed shortly to paid up members. Contact any officer of the club for details.

Hurling: Ballina Junior B hurlers were defeated by Portroe in the North Tipperary championship last Friday evening. They lead by one point at the interval, having played with the wind. Portroe scored three goals in the second half and ran out comfortable winners. The Intermediate team play Newport next weekend in the second round of championship.
