Midwives for Haiti:   Local midwives, Mary Bolger and Martina McKeogh, returned recently from their trip to Haiti, where they met with and taught student midwives in a hospital with no running water and no electricity at night.  They were able, due to the generosity of the people of Ballina/Boher, to bring with them essential medical supplies, medication and teaching equipment to support the ongoing education of the student midwives.  Mary and Martina sincerely thank all for their kind support.
