Friday Church Services in Ballina:   After 10am Mass, the Blessed Sacrament is exposed until 5pm.  Prayer of the Church and Benediction at 1.05pm.  Why not come along and pray awhile.   

Archdiocese Pilgrimage to Knock:   This pilgrimage takes place on Sunday, August 4th.  A bus will leave Ballina at 9am.  All details from Margaret on 376925.

Missionary Visitation:   Next Weekend, Sr. Nuala Flynn (Franciscan Missionaries of Mary) will address our parish congregation about their missionary work.  A collection will take place after Mass.

Junior B Hurling: In the second round of the championship we had a comprehensive win Ballina 4-22 to Nenagh Eire Og 1-09. Well done to the players.

Minor B Hurling: Well done to the minors on their win over Portroe in Ballina last Thursday. Ballina 2-16 -Portroe 0-9. 

Feile Champions:  Congratulations from the club to the U14 camogie girls on their great win in the Gaelic Grounds over Na Piarsiagh in the final. Well done to the players and coaches Teresa Nevin, Orla Carey, Mike Keely and Padraig Gough.

Buy A Sod: The fundraiser for the new pitch saw the youngest person to buy a sod and receive his very own certificate of ownership. Caolan Pepper age 3 years from Grange Ballina is now the proud owner of a sod for the new pitch. Nearly fifty sods have been purchased to date which is 5% of the target 1000 sods. Why not aim to get each of your family names on a sod?   Anyone who has bought a sod before July 31st will be in with a chance to win a €70 voucher for Flanagan’s Bar & Restaurant.
