With the withdrawal of Ballinabrackey, Clonard and Kildalkey Donaghmore/Ashbourne B team (at late notice) filled a vacancy to ensure there were 4 clubs involved and a meaning full competition was had. It was a feast of football with a round robin approach initially. This meant that there were 6 ‘quick-fire’ games with each team playing each other. At the end of this, the table showed that Na Fianna were leadiong the way, closely followed by Ballivor. Donaghmore/Ashbourne won the 3rd/4th playoff beating Longwood. In the final, Na Fianna had a narrow win over hosts Ballivor to progress to the finals in Dunganny on Saturday 29th, August.
Though Ballivor did not progress, it was a very enjoyable day of football that was well managed by all of the teams. Thanks to all who came and helped out and made it so successful.
