Terrible conditions contributed to this game being the proverbial ‘game of 2 halves’. Ballivor looked strong in the first half and held a commanding 5 point advantage. However, in the second half, with the strong wind, Donaghmore Ashbourne made steady inroads coming to as close as 2 points at one stage before a late goal for Ballivor settled the match. It was a hard fought victory but a good confidence boost for the team as they put successive victories together.
