Ballygarvan 4-14 Shamrocks 1-12

Ballygarvan had another convincing win in the Junior A football league again today, this time over Shamrocks. Both teams were even in the first half, with Bally having just a narrow 2 point lead (2-6 to 1-7) at the break. The second half was different story however, with Tadg Quilligan and David Stafford doing sterling work at midfield, they gave Ballygarvan the clear advantage, and with less then five minutes gone in the second half Mark Kennefick scored his third goal and gave Bally a six point lead. Not a bad afternoons work!
