Wednesday 3rd February was a landmark day for St Finbarr's NHF club when the final annual general meetings of our longstanding under age and minor committees were held.
On the evening in question both sections celebrated the 2015 seasons and marked significant successes, in particular the Feile Iomaina victory of our u14 hurlers and their Premier county hurling success, while the Minor section were pleased to have the Premier County football trophy on show at their meeting. Both meetings were well attended and at the close of both agms the formal inauguration of 'Barrs Og' took place with the election of officers for the new committee, which will look after our hurling and football affairs for the age cohort 13-18 years.
We wish the new committee our very best wishes and look forward to many fruitful years ahead.
It is also important to recognise and thank those dedicated members over the decades who gave sterling service to both our under age and minor committees. We thank them and acknowledge their work in building generations of quality hurlers and footballers for our club.
