We extend the sympathy of St. Patricks GAA Club to Mrs. Ann Marie Ryan of Moonverrin on the recent death of her mother Mrs. Eileen O’Meara of Killaghy Mullinahone. Coming from a family that is steeped in the GAA in Mullinahone Ann Marie has been a tireless worker for both GAA and Ladies Football since coming to Drangan several years ago. The Ryan Family have also been involved in the GAA for several years and Ann Maries husband James has been a hard worker for the local GAA for many years as a player and selector and more recently as Chairman of our GAA Lotto. Of course Ann Marie & James son Eoin is a prominent member of St. Patrick’s teams and their daughters Niamh, Áine and Karl are all prominent members of St. Patricks Ladies Football teams. Ann Marie’s brother Brian captained the Tipperary Senior Hurling team in 2003 following Mullinahones victory in the Co. Senior Hurling Championship in 2002.
