Well done to everyone who helped to make the recent Bord na nOg fund raising events great success.
The Race Night in The Olde Woods, Balla was well attended and well enjoyed by everyone. The Bord na nOg committee and the Events committee would like to thank everyone who helped to make it happen. From all those who sold horses leading up to the the night, to Paddy Gibbons for organising the printed material and to those who helped on the night taking bets and ensuring all ran smoothly.
Well done to all the winners. We hope to make this an annual event and hope you all support us again next year.
The Bag Packing event in Tesco, Claremorris also went off without a hitch. We want to thank Tesco for allowing us on-site for the two days. Thanks also to all those who turned up to do the packing and collect the cash.
We hope to run another Bag Packing event again later this year and hope we get even more players, Mums and Dads out to help on the day.
All details of the proceeds from both events will be outlined at the next club meeting.
