Trip to Tipp for Hurlers
Our senior hurlers travelled to Tipperary on Sunday last for a challenge game. The opposition was provided by Kildangan, the club of Tipp senior panellist Darragh Egan, and the game was played in the Éire Óg pitch in Annacarty. It was a lively pipe opener for the season and our ability to score points was the vital factor in the game. We won by 21 points to 2-7. The 2010 County Senior Hurling League commences on Sunday week march 14th.
Thanks to the Éire Óg club for the use of their pitch on Sunday and also to the referee.
