Bride Rovers GAA Club notes & news round-up for the week.

November 8, 2018

HAPPY CHRISTMAS

A very Happy and Peaceful Christmas and a great New Year is extended to all players, members, supporters and sponsors of the Club. We also send greetings at this special time of year to all those people who for different reasons find themselves scattered across the world. Though they are far away they are always in our thoughts and we value their support at all times. We know that being supporters of Bride Rovers is very important to our exiles. The text service introduced during 2011 has been great to keep them all up to date on happenings in the Club and in the Parish in General. For 2012 the new Club Website will be up and running and this will be an invaluable asset for the Club. At this time of the year too we also think of former members, players and supporters of the Club who passed away during the past twelve months. To their friend and relations we offer our support and friendship.

MUNSTER COUNCIL GAA GRANT.

Santa came early for the Club last week in the form of the Munster Council of the GAA.  When work was completed earlier in the year on the Hurling Alley and Astro Turf area an application was sent to the Provincial GAA council for Grant Aid. At a pleasant function Club Cisteoir Dan Quill received a cheque from the Council Chairman Sean Walsh in the presence of Officers of the Cork County Board. This is a great boost for the Club Finances after a very busy and costly year. We are grateful to all those in the Co. Board who assisted the Club in securing this finance.

MINOR GRADES for 2012.

For the forthcoming season we will be  in the A Grade for Minor Hurling and B Grade for Minor Football.
