East Cork U16 Ladies Football League
Sunday March 4th
Our U16s put in a great effort in their first game of the season against Aghada and were competitive throughout but unfortunately came out on the wrong side of the result. We actually led at half-time after playing against a strong wind but tired noticeably in the second half when Aghada’s scoring rate was higher. Still, everyone was encouraged by the display and we can expect this team to very much improve with a few games under their belts.

Qualification games for U14 Feile 2012 are now scheduled to take place on Sunday, March 11th, venue and times to be confirmed.

Our under 12 girls played bishopstown in a practice match on Sunday march 4th at home . The girls started well and kept up the pace right through the match. They took their scores every chance they got and the Bishopstown goalie was kept very busy. Well done girls and keep up the attendance at training, also a big welcome to Cynthia and Aisling who have been training the girls for the last couple of weeks and doing fantastic work with the girls .
