U21 Ladies Football County Championship Quarter-Final

Kinsale 1-10        Bride Rovers 5-17

We bounced back from the recent disappointment of losing an Intermediate All-Ireland Semi-Final by winning our first U21 game of the season in convincing fashion in Kinsale on Sunday, November 20th. Our scoring rate was very impressive throughout the match and our backs and goalkeeper Eadaoin Cashman kept scores conceded down, including a great save of a second half Kinsale penalty. This is a very important competition where younger players gain valuable experience playing with more seasoned players and Bride Rovers take it very seriously. Our experienced players show tremendous example to their younger team-mates by turning out for training on a regular basis, especially when they have already had a long and tiring season and they are to be commended for this. We only had 15 players available in Kinsale because of a number of illnesses and let’s hope we have more players available to us for the upcoming semi-final

MatchPanel : Eadaoin Cashman, Aine Cashman, Catherine Power, Erin O Keeffe, Maria Barry, Jennifer Barry (0-1), Clare Murphy, Eleanor Ahern (0-1), Patricia O Sullivan, Sinead Walsh (2-1), Grace Kearney (1-8), Jennifer Cahill (0-2), Katie O Connor (0-2), Elaine Dee (2-0), Elaine Culloty (0-2)

U14 Ladies Football Laegue Final

Our U14s’ season ended on a disappointing note when Midleton defeated us in Rathcormac on Saturday, November 19. Midleton were very strong on the day and we can have no complaints. Thanks to all players and mentors associated with the U14s this year for the effort that they put in throughout.

Annual Bride Rovers Ladies Pamper Night – Fundraiser

The annual pamper night goes ahead on Friday, November 25, starting at 7:30pm in Rathcormac Community Hall with a mulled wine reception. This has been a very enjoyable night in previous years and it’s hoped that a large crowd will attend again this year. Tickets are priced at 10 euro and are available from Betty or Valerie, or at the door on the night.
