Friday, May 6th, East Cork U16 League Semi-Final.
Bride Rovers 2-6 Inch Rovers 2-11
A spirited second half performance from Bride Rovers was not enough to deny Inch Rovers a deserved win in this U16 east Cork league semi-final. Our girls had a mountain to climb at half-time, but improved dramatically after the break, and our impressive scoring in that period included goals from Trish O’Sullivan and Erin O’Keeffe. Best of luck to Inch Rovers in the final where they will be undoubtedly be very hard to beat. Bride Rovers have the county championship to look forward to now, which will probably be after the school examinations.
