Bride Rovers Ladies Football & Camogie Club notes.

November 8, 2018

Junior Camogie

Training has resumed on Sunday mornings and league games will start in about two weeks. News on fixtures to follow.

Intermediate Football

At the time of writing, I don’t have the result of our league game versus Kildorrery on Wednesday night but let’s hope it went well for our girls.

Upcoming fixture : Division 2 League Game Bride Rovers vs St Vals, Sunday, March 27th, 5:30pm at Rathcormac main pitch.

U16 Ladies Football

Sunday, March 20th. U16 East Cork Ladies Football League.

Bride Rovers 4-8             Fermoy 2-11.

Our U16s enjoyed an exciting win over Fermoy at Rathcormac on Sunday on a scoreline of 4-8 to 2-11. Our girls had the better of the first half and led by nine points at half-time, having goaled three times. Fermoy fought back strongly in the second half though and fitness levels were tested to the limit. A fine fourth goal near the end from Patricia O Sullivan was enough to secure victory though.

Upcoming fixtures (to be confirmed by team management) : U16 East Cork Ladies Football League  – Bride Rovers vs Carrigtwohill (rescheduled game) and Bride Rovers vs Inch Rovers, Saturday, April 9th.

U14 Ladies Football

Upcoming fixtures (to be confirmed by team management) : U14 East Cork Ladies Football League  – Carrigtwohill vs Bride Rovers Sunday, March 27th.

U12 Ladies Football & Camogie

Our U12 girls 2011 campaign got off to a great start on Sunday, March 20th when we hosted Eire Og at Pynes pitch for a friendly match. We had a great turnout of players all of whom got very involved. Games against Eire Og are always open and exciting and this one was no exception. We look forward to visiting them in Ovens later in the season.
