Bride Rovers Ladies Football & Camogie Club notes.

November 8, 2018

Due to ongoing work at the main pitch, it has been decided to hold the registration night in the Jimmy Maye room in the community hall this year. This is scheduled for Friday night, March 4,starting at 7:30pm. Registration charges are unchanged from 2010 for all player grades, mentors and adult members. It’s very important that all players are registered so that they are covered by the injury fund/insurance.

Upcoming fixture

Challenge game – Bride Rovers vs Cork U16 team at CIT pitch, Sunday, Feb 27th at 12:30pm.

U16 Ladies Football

The first U16 league game last Sunday at Carrigtwohill was unfortunately postponed at short notice. It’s hoped to reschedule this in the coming weeks.

Upcoming fixture (to be confirmed by team management later)

U16 East Cork Ladies Football League  – Midleton vs Bride Rovers, Sunday March 6th.

U14 Ladies Football

Our U14 panel continued their prep for upcoming league matches with two training sessions this week. It’s planned to have a second team at U14 level this year, which will also compete in an East Cork league competition, so all eligible players are encouraged to rejoin the panel.

Upcoming fixture (to be confirmed by team management later)

U14 East Cork Ladies Football League  – Fermoy vs Bride Rovers, Sunday February 27th.

U12 Ladies Football

U12 Activities for 2011 kicked off on Saturday, Feb 19 on the Castlelyons Astroturf, when we held the annual street league competition. This was a great success and the feedback from the players was very positive. Because the grass pitches are so wet at the moment, we hope to continue training for U12s on the artificial surface for a couple of weeks until the weather improves.

Junior Camogie

Activities for the Junior Camogie panel will resume in the coming weeks. Details will be circulated by the team management.

Finally, the next club meeting is scheduled for Monday, March 7th.
