Carnival Tournament Win

On Sunday night we were invited to take part in the Araglen Carnival Hurling Tournament Final. We had a great game against Ballyduff. We led by 1-6 to 0-7 at the break, our goal coming from Michael Collins. With the wind in the second half we hurled better and won by 3-10 to 1-9. Sincere thanks to the Araglen Carnival Committee for their invitation. In the 1960’s and 1970’s Carnival Tournaments were very popular all over East Cork but have now practically disappeared. This tournament win was actually the first competition final we’ve won at senior level.
